As part of the Energy Saving Trust's agenda to inform and facilitate microgeneration technology uptake in the households and communities 11 Regional Microgeneration Co-ordinators are now in post across the country. In the East of England Zero Carbon Britain is hosting this co-ordinator.
Each Regional Microgeneration Co-ordinator has three primary objectives;
1. To ensure that the Energy Saving Trust Advice Centre have the knowledge, resources and skills necessary to provide up to date, accurate and independant microgeneration advice,
2. To work with regional stakeholders and the microgeneration supply chain to get the maximum number of Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) installers in the region, and
3. To identify where microgeneration is needed and satify demand through local and sub-regional projects with their associated funding potentials.
