Zero Carbon Britain Managing Director, Paul Bourgeois, spent 9 years recording and analysing data collated from 100 Norfolk homes who assisted him to record energy consumption before and after loft, cavity wall or loft and cavity wall insulation packages were installed. Meter readings, behavioural and physical building changes were recorded weekly for two years to enable a comprehensive assessment and picture to be formulated for each property.
